At work I am particularly interested in caring for patients with dementia and I am responsible for the medicines management of the practice. My free time is spent competing and eventing with my horse, and walking our dog in the peaks.

I studied medicine in Sheffield, graduating in 1994. After working in a variety of hospitals, mainly in A&E departments, and training to teach, I started GP training in Winchester in 2000, qualifying in 2003.
I enjoy walking, badminton and music and am also involved in a local church.
I worked in the High Peak for 7 years before joining Bakewell Medical Centre in 2012. My interests include GP support and education, minor surgery and anticoagulation.
